MEDICARE Psychologist In Buderim

Medicare Rebates for Psychological Services

Medicare rebates can significantly reduce the cost of psychological services. Under the Better Access initiative, you may be eligible for rebates for up to 10 individual therapy sessions per calendar year. How It Works:
  1. Obtain a Referral: To access Medicare rebates for psychological services, you will need a referral from your General Practitioner (GP).  This referral will come with a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP).
  2. Book an Appointment: Once you have your referral, ask your GP clinic to send your referral via secure fax to 07 5474 4343.  Then contact us to schedule your initial appointment.
  3. Receive Rebates: After each session, you will be eligible to claim a rebate from Medicare, reducing your out-of-pocket costs.
